Los Kitos & History: A Stunning Story

Did you know that California was the first state to end school segregation and that it started in Orange County?

Los Kitos are partnering with the non-profit Mendez America Project to promote the history of Mendez v. Westminster, the 1947 Orange County case that made California the first state in the nation to end school segregation. Los Kitos will join Mendez America Project president Sandra Robbie in her awesome 1967 VW bus as she delivers the stunning story of this civil rights victory in the MvW Magical History Tour. Mendez v. Westminster was commemorated on a U.S. postage stamp in September 2007.
